Medication Management **(Currently under conversion to our web based system)**
CorrectHM currently allows providers to write prescriptions for each patient and review past orders. The system, when interfaced with an acceptable pharmacy provider, sends the Rx electronically to the pharmacy for the filling and prints the physican order sheet, thus reducing transcription error due to legibility. This also reduces time faxing orders and verifying pharmacy receipts due to electronic data transfer. Providers utilize an approved list of medications that displays formulary vs. non-formulary medications.

If the provider needs to utilize a non-formulary medication thay are automatically prompted to fill out the non-formulary medication request on line. The request is electonically routed to the medical director for approval. Only providers with current licensure and credentials in the human resources module can use this function. When expiered they are prompted to see the administrator to provide necessary updates. Other users of the system have read only privileges to the prescription data. The system will also manage refills, discontinuation of therapy, and identification of keep on person medication.
